Customizing Blogger Introduction

This category is going to be all about customizing blogger! I'll be making two different types of tutorials; One for the general blogger who doesn't know much about html, css, web design etc. and another set of tutorials for web designers.

The general tutorials will teach you how to customize your blogger template without having to write any code at all, each tutorial will include a snippet of code that you can just copy and paste into your blog for instant customization.

The advanced tutorials or the tutorials for web devs and designers will be based more on teaching you the skills to fully customize your blog by diving into the code and changing things around to make you blog the way you want it.

Of course, both sets of tutorials are available to everyone and if you feel like there is something that you need or want to edit on your blog, don't be afraid to take a look at both the general or advanced tutorials. I will try to explain both in great detail in the hopes that anyone will be able to understand and learn from them.

The category or Label is going to be called "Customizing blogger" which will contain both the general and advanced tutorials. I will also then add another more specific label such as "General Tutorials" or "Advanced Tutorials" so that you can view the set of tutorials that fit your individual needs.

I look forward to helping out the blogger and web design community and I hope you do to! Stay tuned for the tutorials and subscribe if you like!

 Thanks,

Christmas in Korea!

Google Christmas in Korea may be a lot different than you think.  Normally when I think of Christmas I imagine all the flashing lights, decorations, giving, gifts, and Christmas cheer; but to my surprise I didn't find the same experience while studying abroad in South Korea.

Christmas in Korea is actually an entirely different type of holiday; it's much more of a day for couples to go out and be together rather than a day to spend with family.  In fact in Korea, if you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend then Christmas can be quite a sad and lonely time of year. : [

It's heart breaking to see some of the lonely people on Christmas for me.  I always remember the holiday seasons being full of joy and happiness and it really makes a big difference.  I realized that I actually took the Holidays for granted back in America.  I always felt like I enjoyed Christmas time and thanksgiving.  Though, I never realized what a big impact it has on the entire year.  My girlfriend and I tried to set up a small tree and buy some gifts to make it feel a bit more joyful, but no matter what we did, it just didn't  seem to bring the spirit of Christmas back.

Being in Korea and seeing the lack of joy and enthusiasm about the Holidays has really made me come to appreciate its spirit and I will never take that for  granted again.  If you are a foreigner living in Korea I understand how you may feel at this time of year, and I just wanted to wish YOU and very Merry Christmas this year.  Cheer up, and hang in there because you are not alone.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a great day!
